DIMENTIONS

2400mm x 1100mm x 50mm thick

This project was a large-scale, single-slab dining table, built to highlight the natural shape and grain of the timber while keeping the overall design clean and timeless.

The finished top measures 2400mm long × 1100mm wide and a solid 50mm thick, giving the piece a strong, grounded presence without needing extra detailing.

The slab was selected specifically for its movement through the grain, natural colour variation, and the organic live edges running the length of the table.

Once chosen, the timber was flattened, refined, and shaped, with careful attention given to preserving its natural features while still achieving a smooth and functional surface for everyday use.

After machining and sanding, the table was finished to enhance the timber’s depth and character while providing long-term protection. The final result is a statement piece that feels natural, balanced, and built to last.
