Custom Round Kids Study Table — American Hard Maple

This project was designed specifically for a home learning space, with a focus on comfort, scale, and everyday usability. The table measures 1400mm in diameter and is set at a reduced height of 580mm, allowing it to pair naturally with children’s seating and create a more relaxed, accessible workspace.

American Hard Maple was selected for its durability, fine grain, and light, even tone, making it well suited to a bright study environment. The timber was carefully prepared and finished to maintain a smooth, hard-wearing surface while keeping the natural character of the material visible.

The round form encourages shared use and interaction, making it ideal for reading, writing, and creative activities. Structurally, the table is supported with a solid base designed to provide stability without getting in the way of seating or movement around the table.
